Thursday May 28th, 7 pm, Beaver Bank Kinsac Community Centre Doors Open at 6:30 pm Come meet your Beaver Bank – Kinsac Community Groups The Beaver Bank Community Awareness Association (BBCAA) will present an information session showcasing some of the many Volunteer Community Groups working in your community. Based on feedback received after last year’s Town Hall Meeting, the BBCAA has decided to switch it up this year. Instead of the typical town hall style meeting, we have invited major volunteer groups to give an update on their past year’s activities and any new initiatives which may be on the horizon. BBCAA Annual General Meeting (April 16 2025)

Beaver Bank Community Awareness Association hereby gives notice that their Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Wednesday April 16, 2025, at 7 pm, in the Senior’s Lounge, main floor of the BBK Community Centre. This will be a short business meeting to approve the minutes of the previous AGM, along with the Treasurer’s Report for the BBCAA. There will be no elections to the Board as all spaces are currently filled, and all members have indicated returning to the Board for the upcoming year. This meeting is open to the public.

What’s new at the ball fields?

Community Update
There was interest recently with regards to the ballfields at the Beaver Bank River, especially the old T-ball field at the back north side of the property. On the Beaver Bank Community Watch Facebook group, there was interest expressed in coming together to form a plan of action to expand the recreation opportunities. Wonder no more! There is a plan in place which the Beaver Bank Community Awareness Association (BBCAA) has been working on for some time. We are working in conjunction with HRM, who own the property, to provide more recreation opportunities. Funds have been put aside for some of the improvements from the Scotian Wind Community Fund, and some funding will come from HRM. While COVID put a cramp in the timeline, we have been pushing to get…
