Community Information Meeting (May 28, 2026)

Thursday May 28th, 7 pm, Beaver Bank Kinsac Community Centre

Doors Open at 6:30 pm

Come meet your Beaver Bank – Kinsac Community Groups

The Beaver Bank Community Awareness Association (BBCAA) will present an information session showcasing some of the many Volunteer Community Groups working in your community. Based on feedback received after last year’s Town Hall Meeting, the BBCAA has decided to switch it up this year. Instead of the typical town hall style meeting, we have invited major volunteer groups to give an update on their past year’s activities and any new initiatives which may be on the horizon. This will be the 30th year the BBCAA has hosted a community meeting.

After the presentations, we will not be holding a Q&A session, but instead encourage you to spend some time and meet the presenters. Refreshments will be offered following the presentations. If you would like to volunteer, but don’t know where your skills or interests would be of benefit, this is a great opportunity to see some of the groups in the area. We also encourage any local volunteer groups to attend. We will be more than happy to provide them with a Display table. Please email bbcaa@beaverbank.com to have one for your group.

Also, there will be an opportunity to give some input on the future developments at the Beaver Bank Ball Fields.

Publications will be available for purchase: The History of Beaver Bank by Elmer Grove ($25), Cries at Kinsac Corner ($20) and Bagpipes Blowing ($20). Cash only please.

Along with MLA Brian Wong, Councillor Billy Gillis and RCMP Staff Sgt Mark Macpherson, the following groups will be presenting:

Beaver Bank Community Awareness Association (BBCAA)

Beaver Bank Kinsac Volunteer Fire Department (BBKVFD)

Beaver Bank Kinsac Lions Club

Beaver Bank Kinsac Community Centre (BBKCC)

Sackville Lakes Park and Trails Association
