People can connect and offer, get rides to and from the Community Centre until we get the bus back.
Also posting updates on ‘Beaver Bank Community Watch’ group and the ‘Beaver Bank Transit’ page.

Lyke Mailman is currently¬†working on a petition with our councillor, Deputy Mayor Blackburn, that we’ll present at
Northwest Community Council on January 13th and to City Council January 14th.

Halifax Transportation Standing Committee Meeting at City Hall (12/12/19 1PM)

UPDATE (12/09/19):

On the news again tonight! I’ll organize a charter bus for This Thursday to go from Ivy Meadows, arriving at City Hall by 12:30pm. The Transportation Standing Committee Meeting starts at 1pm. We need as many black and red plaid shirts as we can get.

Great News!!

Upgrades have begun at the Beaver Bank Ballfields.
  • New Fencing,
  • Pickle ball court,
  • new basketball nets
  • Removing the old fencing from the back field and leveling it out.

 

This is the first step towards our *new* family park in Beaver Bank.
